PC Gaming I've been doing for years and I just love it! However, it's an expensive hobby, at best, and as long as the gaming companies keep the system requirements, at a sensible level, I'll be there. Although, I have a sneaky suspiscion gaming will become even more expensive yet! If that's the case, then I can see a huge movement towards console gaming as the PC gaming companies will outprice themselves eventually. The PC gaming market (us gamers) will only absorb so much in gaming costs.

Well I own a PS1 and A PS2. but the price of the PS3 is really making me think twice about it. The other thing is that Sony is trying to use it to push a possably dead format (which is nothing unusal for Sony). I'll consider buying one after the PS3 has been thoughly hacked, and I see that blue ray is actually a reliable format. And the price comes down to somthing resonable.
Does anyone remember when the PS2 came out it made for quite the expensive DVD player because it would destroy your DVD's by scratching and warping them. The DVD drive on the PS2 is and has always been defective junk. With the Lasers regularly burning out. No if I want a blueray or HD-DVD Or one of the better derivitives, I will get it as a drive for my computer first. I personlly hope that Blue-Ray and HD-DVD are seen as stillborn when they look back at them in 5 years. |
