ATI Catalyst drivers, are they getting better?

They seem to be, always seeing improvements on games with them. Just need to see improvements in OpenGL now. Hopefully 4.9's will do just that.

This poll is RIGGED! Terry is going to have all of ATI Staff vote I think they are getting better. lol

Na, before the Catalyst drivers, I hated ATI. Had good hardware, but drivers was really horrible. Catalyst drivers have totally turned around ATI, good hardware, and very stable drivers. I don't think Terry or anyone at ATI would let their drivers get worse. You have a good team and keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing what ATI will come out with next,

My vote is.........they re getting better of course! ATI always has little performance boosts here and trhtere and sometimes even major boosts!

But ya know....if the price was right i could vote the other way.....

my friends complaining that his gaming is getting worse on the Catalysts

and these are older games that already have been fixed for him,

also why are ATI updates so big

if that were the case.... i'd need to vote more then 2 dozen times.....

yep... i've got 4 computers with ati cards...

and i've built just over 2 dozen with ati cards...

I've gone as far as to bargain to pull a nvidia card out some peoples pc's and replace them with better ati cards.....

I've got a hand full of tnt's now.. and a few geforce's... gaud.. there just so awefull.....

I'm really happy since the 4.8 beta's leaked and the 4.9's were icing on the cake. It's been quite awhile since I was actually satisfied with a driver package, and now I have 2 that haven't even been fully tested that I'm happy with. Thanks Catalyst Team

first you design one,if you don't do this then you can request one here once done you need a web host to upload the file to.

once done copy the url for the sig,then goto your cp,edit signature.
enter using the insert image tag.

I tested all of them ... and they are getting definetely better. In my humble opinion, ATi's drivers even raised over the one's nVidia makes. 1-2 years ago the opposite was present ... but development continues.
