Big Grin Audio Definition: Can it get any better

Hello all

First off I must say, I dip my hat to the kX Project team these drivers are amazing

One of the things I first noticed when I saw them was, I knew they could get only better. I messed about with them for a little while, played here and there, seed how far I could get with them. Note, this was early on in development of these drivers that I tried them, so they were a bit buggy.

But now I've been able to spend time getting to know these drivers, and I'm actually starting on a new major project. One of the previous guides I did was on audio compression/optimization, and that taught me a lot about how sound "feels" when compressed, and how to define between the low/mid/high ranges

Now this is enabling me to be able to go even deeper than I did before, and down to driver/routing level.

So far I have been able to 1/4 rebuild the DSP routing for the kX project drivers, focussing on audio quality @ all levels. Sorts of music used for testing in these situations are as follows:

DI Trance Stream *Via the net*
Classical/Orchestral
Dance/Trance
Pop/Rock

Its showing noticeable improvements thus far, having taking our part of the routing stage and replaced it with others, changed bits here and there, and so forth.

If anybody would possibly be interested in following my ventures with the kX project drivers & the DSP rerouting, please msg me on msn, and I'll only be too happy to pass on the settings for some feedback.

Cheers
