No, donīt care - I donīt give up with this. Since I also have not the time that I want for now, you donīt need to rush. I believe, if there is a bunch of tracks some day, it will be magnificant. Thank you all who want to be a part of it.

I dunno if this project is frozen or not. I can send a song as Cubase, mp3 or wav.

No, it is not frozen - Cubase SX 1.06 is here for mastering, wave is also possible, also a short desciption of your work and a picture of you maybe - all bundled on a CD?! This would be very nice . For address see above.

Hello!

I have started the first work on a track for the sampler. Itīs from my electronic-project called "Reconstruction". These are some ideas chained together, we will see what comes next. Since I have not too much time, I hope I will finish the thing

For the sound I used for now:

kX-driver 3537
Asynth plugin
DrumMachine plugin
DynamicsProcessor plugin
DelayA plugin
ReverbR plugin

CubaseSX
Drumatic22 VST
IBlit VST

I would like to thank all the programmers and here is the first test-file to download:

i'm posting as i listen - very nice bassline to the track, nice minimal drum sounds, and i like the "bloop" effects

the lead's just come in now, very retro digital piano sound (to my ears)

that distorted kick towards the end sounds nice, but a little harsh on the distortion imo, turning it down a little, or even a low-pass filter might give it a cleaner, more pleasant sound

Thank you guys for the comment. Iīve driven it a bit ahead last hour and lowered the snare a bit. The test-file is not mixed up very well and of low mp3 quality - it was only to make you a bit curious - whatīs about your own material?! Iīm curious too!

No, not a single post regarding this in my message box . I for myself canīt make some music this days since our baby eats up most of my (and my wifeīs) free time. Sorry to say that. If there are still guys īn girls who want to participate: Iīm still waiting for your material! But I canīt check the forum everyday so itīs on you to give me a sign. If you want to send some stuff on CD, use the p.o.box I mentioned above and give me a message that I can check the box to get the material. More I canīt do atm.

Via a CD? Can`t download such horrible amount of data. Or ask trevbushell, I think he can manage it anyhow to download and burn it and send it over. I think a collection is good to select a little, I will reply then for getting the single tracks to mix them up, if necessary - will see... Thank you for your suggestion.

Yeah, 30-50MB is going to be tough to do through email. Even if you managed to send it, the person you are sending it to, may not get it fully intact (if at all), and it could get hung up along the way while being scanned by mail servers, etc. You would probably have to make it a multipart .rar (or some other compressed format) file, Your best bet would be to host it somewhere, so that it could be downloaded, or send it (direct connection) using a chat program like ICQ, or Windows Messenger, etc.

yeah - Ill just encode to Hi-Q Mp3 (<10MB) ... Im pretty sure Travelrec can convert it. Q loss will be negligable.

Uuuh, mp3 is not the best choice, even if itīs so called Hi-Q - better to make a multipart .rar to get the original wave back... Sorry, but highest possible quality is near good enough

I want to send a song myself, I just have to record the vocals, so it might take a while.

I think it would be best if we send our songs on a CD as a wav through regular mail.

good place to host is www.yousendit.com i think the max upload is about 1gb or so, so a simple wav file is easily supported

the file is hosted on the yousendit server, and the recipient of the email is given a link to download (it expires after a week/certain number of downloads)

Mostly because of the perpetual wait in lines at the post office

- their overpaid people are:

s - l - o - w - e - r

t - h - a - n

s - h - % - t.

They must have a patent on 'perpetual non-motion' lol

Thank god not many license their technology...

Hmm, cannot proof this, a package to sweden arrived in 4 days - tried it out. Anyway - if itīs too hard for you and will cost a lot of money, better leave it. I donīt want to bother you too much but every post is welcome, and you will understand that such a project needs some high quality. Otherwise one donīt need to start up, since everyone who is willing to pay for the finished product to support kX, is expecting a quality product.

Understood - Im not offended or mad or anything... Like I said before Im sure the CD will sell without my crap on it.. I wasnt think of the end user paying for it angle with the Q loss... My stuff aint that good to begin with - add the Q loss, I'd want my money back too
