asynthomania! all done with lemurys DSP Asynth

completed Asynth song all parts done with lemurys asynth apart from drums (which were painfully programmed by me (im pleased with the result but not using lemurys drumsynth Im afraid) and apart from one wierd scat line in the middle of the song (recorded into line in by an oscillator box!)

I think this really shows off the power of lemurys asynth, it truly is amazing and versatile!

I listened to your song. It's interesting to hear what you can achieve with Lemury's hardware synth.
It's does not match my taste in music so I can't say that I loved it a lot. But it's not bad at all. It's well done.

It's not the kind of music that I would listen to by itself. It seems to me to be the kind of music that must accompany something. It could be a video, a game, a website, etc. You just have to find where to use it.

Keep up the great work trevbushell.

thnx for giving it a listen tril. i appreciate it.
i guess it does depend on your personal taste, like you say. there are actually alot of professional artists who have "made it" who write this kind of eklectic music i.e.- arabesque, lemon jelly, mum, underworld, quantic, nithan sawney, squarecrusher, st germaine... and the list goes on.... even back to the Kraftwerk days!!.
theres loads of albums around but if youre not into this style of music your not gonna be listening to them i guess

thnx again tril, really appreciate your interest in my music, its great to get as many opinions as i get on this forum.

Hi!

I love the song, itīs dark īn funny, fat and some neo-classic. It has nice (strange) ideas and a warm overall-sound. Since I also love(ed) Kraftwerk, this new music meets my personal taste absolutely. I like the programmed drums w/FX a lot. The circling makes whe whole sound very effective when used with headphones . Good work, trev! Voices planned for these track?! Some minimalistic perhaps?!

Thanks travelrec!
hmm minimilist voices, i havent thought about it (im not a good singer or a very good melody writer). but ill have a think about it now.

glad you noticed the drums... i spent ages on them and had a lot of fun with them programming them and adding fx and panning! im really pleased with them too!

I'll probs send you this song for the album (unless i do anything better in the meantime) if thats ok
