web page help

Ok here is a site im rodoing the schools crapy page...... Here is just a mock up page which hasnt had much done on it. I want when you hover a button to have a little semi-transparent box come up over the warrior head and have a description of where the link takes you. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to do this!

N/M i got i figured out i had to use swap images in Fireworks andalpha blend them......you can still check the mock up out and tell me what ya thinkg.

Can't really say that I'm partial to either one. They both look unprofessional, but yours does look better.
