Should be quite simple really - I run web stuff at work under Windows - just not any forum stuff.
First off, you should configure PHP for your web server. I use Apache by choice (2.0.46 is the latest from http://httpd.apache.org) as I don't like IIS which comes with Windows. Infact, we've got a relative idiot proof guide to installing Apache and PHP under Windows as out internet based product requires this - and some of our clients are real idiots! Quite simple really,do this, do that and voila it works. Provided you've followed each step.If this what you need then let me know and I'll post a snippet of our install manual. Otherwise, checkout http://www.opensa.org which does an Apache+PHP+others simple install as one package! Haven't tried it myself but it may suit you. You think you've already got mysql working - so the only other step is installing and configuring a forum!
