Linking to Page Area

Hey guys, got another problem for ya

Im wondering how to link back to a certain area on a page.
ATM im designing a small homepage/website.
On one page I scroll down to the bottom and click a picture thumbnail link
which links to another page displaying the full sized piccy.
On this page I have a link back to the first page. When I click the link
it returns to the previous page, but it returns to the top of that page

What I would like it to do is return to the bottom of the page
where the thumbnail image is located.

Any help much appreciated

You need to create an anchor in the place where you need to go to. For Example:

<a name="pic">This is a picture</a>

Then on the page from where you would like to link to that anchor you make a link like this:

<a href="previous_page.html#pic">Go back</a>
