grrr... can't remember name - plz help

Ok - a little while back I downloaded this great 3d moddeling suite - but lost it in a reboot - since then I have been looking for it - but unable to find it (I can't remember the exact name)

The name is something along the lines of MAX FX (no - not the max payne engine) - or similar - if anybody has any ideas please throw them my way

Is the program free? I googled for free modellers, but nothing similar came up. There are quite a few free modelling suites though.

No - not free - it costs about £60 or $60 - I can't remember.

Blender looks interesting - but not it.
