Good tutorial on Server set-up???

I have a server..V-Deck...
Only thing is, I really don't know what the hell I'm doing as far as allowing certain other people
who help me out, to have access to certain things and no access to other things.

I really need a simple, thoroughly explained, tuorial on how to mangae a server and website.

Any recommends?
