How do I make a journal?

I'm going to have to renew my server soon and I'm thinking of going for a nice upgrade at globat.com and I was going to offer some friends of mine image hosting, journal options, etc etc. Does anyone know how to, or can link me to a place that will help me create:

Journals (like livejournal, xanga, etc etc)
Easy image uploading
A private section requiring username and pass
and a forum
