I hate buying brand name computers, dell is normally decent quality. I would expect more these events from something like HP or eMachines. I hope you get a new computer. argue argue argue. threaten them too

Personally, my experience with Dell has been 100% positive. Their Days of Deals here in Canada offer decent prices and their free shipping rocks. They used to have a bad reputation here too, but I don't think I've heard any complaints about them here for quite a while.

havent had any significant problems with Dell, they are just like all the other puter sellers and they have a good product, still banging away on a Inspiron 6000 and it serves me well.
I had a chance to use the ASUS eee and it was cheaper for power to wieght and gigabites and just as satisfying, but I still didnt buy one.

I despite brand computer....

1) Spyware
2) Free crapwares
3) Shitting try-out program (30 DAYS NORTON TRAIL!!!)
4) Limited upgrade. Some hp computer only hold one hdd, WTF!!
5) Usually slow as it shouldn't.

Only good thing about it for regular customer is good deal.

But I prefer to build my own to get exactly what I really want.

I really don't mind Dell's laptop, they're usually good. Dell Canada service usually excellent.
