Best Buy Black Friday Ad Has Been Released
I just got an email saying that the Black Friday ad has been posted online. Last year I thought their sale sucked but this year the deals are pretty good!

Re: Best Buy Black Friday Ad Has Been Released
FWIW, I avoid Best Buy like the Bubonic Plague.
First of all, they put items in their Sales ADs that they don't even have on hand on the VERY FIRST DAY of the sale. It's just a "come-on" tactic. Once you're there, they'll try to direct you to a "similar" item that costs more. Secondly, if you try to return an item, there's a 15% restocking fee. I can't figure out just how they have managed to stay in business all these years. |

Re: Best Buy Black Friday Ad Has Been Released
because most people are sheep and will continue to shop at places that use black friday like it's a big deal..
black friday is no more then a rough average on the year that large businesses tend to register into the "black" rather then still being in the red "on the books" so to say.. essentially most opperators/business owners.... even famers tend to opperate from the fiscal start of the year to about around here in the red... meaning they are using credit and loans to opperate..... around this time.. they usually are able to start paying back their debts and register a profit. Now for farmers that's very true... for businesses.. they've long since been working the systems to their advantage by purposely working in the red so they don't get nailed for tax related returns and other things that would ding you while opperating in the black. Frankly the term "black friday" used as a special sale day is a royal bitch slap to the customer base as they basically are gambling on customers to come in during this "sale" to bring them out of the red and into the black... Worse yet.. as dyre put it.... and dyre.. it's intentional.... they will promote the specials of the black friday/weekend of products.. they have no intention of having in stock or actually to sell to anyone.. however with legalities considered.. they are using a known loophole to be able to do this without being nailed for false advertising... Actually quite often on many flyers you'll see in small letters "limited stock" or "while it lasts" all they have to do is have ONE of those items on hand.... they sell it to either themselves (aka, an employee) or the first customer at a discounted sale price.. could even be as much as 75% off.. orginal price of 400 bucks and sold for 100.... so what.. they lost say 100 bucks (because most big stores usually put a 100% markup on the suckers).. in the end they do this for about 50 items... losing say 5000 bucks by selling it way to cheap.... but then due to pulling in several thousand customers and selling everything else NOT on sale.... really.... they make a huge profit, covering the cost of the loss and moveing mostly dead or dieing or soon to be obsolete stock out. Personally i would love to see absalutely NO ONE show up to these stores on these days..... and watch them crumble.... the end result would be damn good deals actually worth getting. It's to bad most of the people don't realise their fulll potential as a customer....
