System Specs

Smilie HP/Compaq

I do local tech support for friends/family/acquaintances and in the past two weeks I've had to fix a Toshiba Satellite, Compaq Presario, HP-I-forget-what, and Lenovo Thinkpad T410.

And honestly, I have to say that HP was probably the easiest to deal with (HP bought Compaq, so I had to deal with them twice). Both times I ended up getting the hard drives replaced, and they promptly sent out new ones with very few questions asked (arrived in ~3 days both times). Toshiba was a complete pita (I ended up going into regedit/malwarebytes/avast in order to fix it) and Lenovo was what I expected.

Hats off to HP support, though.
