Re: Intel Core Challenge People's Choice Winner - Interview @ HH
I'm fairly surprised at this system being the winner. Obviously there is nothing wrong with it and it is a nice rig. However, the in realms of even general watercooing and modding, this thing is VERY basic. A 15 minute review of the rigs shown on xtremesystems.org water cooling forums would produce no less than a dozen rigs that would outclass this one. Was there little publicity for this event?
By all means, congrats to the winner, but again, very suprising that this one would be the showcase that Intel would want. |

Re: Intel Core Challenge People's Choice Winner - Interview @ HH
It took him 150 hours to build it...man unless I was taking part in a competition that I knew I was going to win, there is no way I was going to spend 150 hours building a PC. The most I have spend is a "day", and that when something is broken etc.
Good for him though. I like the cyan colour inside, it reminds me of some hospitals around here.

His mod didn't seem hugely spectacular, but then again I probably couldn't do what he did myself - both skill and time...
