Introduction

Dell are one of the largest system manufacturers employing more than 76,500 people worldwide - which is an impressive feat, considering that Michael Dell founded the company in 1984 as PC's Limited with limited capital of $1000. This success story has continued throughout the decades with their recent acquisition of high profile gaming specialist Alienware and today we are going to look at one of Dell's USA specification gaming systems - the XPS 630.

The system we received at our offices is only sold right now in the USA, as there are some changes between the USA and UK XPS systems. For instance the UK version of this system will ship with a single 1GB GTX240 video card whereas the one on test today is supplied with two ATI 512MB 4850 graphics cards in Crossfire.
