Introduction

 Razer are one of the pioneers within the hardware industry - their products are used by gamers all over the world and if you visit any LAN event they will grace the table of many important clan gamers. We have looked at a number of their products over the years, most recently the Razer Mamba, an expensive, high tech wireless gaming mouse.

Today we’re going to be looking at another product from Razer’s high end selection, the £120 Razer Megalodon 7.1 surround sound headset. This headset has an on-board audio processor with Razer’s Maelstrom sound engine which claims to provide immersive surround sound from just two drivers.
