Introduction
Akasa are a very well known manufacturer among technology enthusiasts, but even though they owe most of their reputation to their vast selection of cooling-related products they have also began to diversify towards the chassis design and power supply markets some time ago.
We thoroughly tested and reviewed several of these products here on DriverHeaven during the past several months. Today we are going to have a look at their latest high performance case, the
Freedom Xone. Unlike the
Omega and the
Infinity Zor cases that we recently reviewed and which Akasa classes as full size tower cases, the Freedom Xone is classed as a midi tower case even though its physical size is marginally smaller than the Omega’s. The Freedom Xone has been designed to balance high thermal performance and value, but doesn’t abandon aesthetics and/or functionality. We will test the Freedom Xone case and see how well it manages to balance everything in this review.
