Corsair AX1200 Power Supply Review

Corsair Professional Series Gold AX1200 Power Supply

The chances are that when consumers think of Corsair their main product they have in mind is memory. For many years now Corsair have been known for high performance and high reliability modules and it has ensured that they have remained a top choice for hardware enthusiasts.

In more recent times they have been branching out into other parts of the market and through products such as their H50/A70 coolers, Force Series SSDs and 800D chassis they have received rave reviews across the net, including here. The product catalogue is now so varied that in this era of digital downloads it is possible to build a system where the only non-Corsair products are the motherboard, CPU and GPU. All of the other major components can be Corsair branded, including the PSU.

Today on our test bench we have the latest model in their PSU range, the Professional Series Gold AX1200. This is Corsair's new flagship product and considering how well their previous PSU's have performed it has a lot of expectation placed on it.
