Enermax Revolution 85+ 920W Power Supply Review

Enermax Revolution 85+ 920W Power Supply

All-time favourite components, we all have them. Whether it is our first real GPU which powered an old classic 10 years ago or a mouse that just felt "right" in the hand, there are items everyone has used which we can look back on fondly. For us one of those components was an old PSU we had in late 2006, the Enermax Galaxy 850w. For its time the Galaxy 850w was able to power just about any system we could throw at it and the connectors available far exceeded the competition, it was one of those game changing products.

Our experience with that PSU has meant that each time Enermax release a new model we are always interested to see if it can live up to the expectations set by the older product. Occasionally this happens with PSUs such as the Revolution 85+ 1250w, a model which we reviewed in January 2009 stating "this is by far the most efficient consumer PSU we have tested".

Recently Enermax have been refreshing the Revolution 85+ series and we have the 920w model on our test bench, let's see if the series continues to impress.
