AMD Phenom II Processors (X6 1075T, X4 970 Black Edition & X2 560 Black Edition) Review

AMD Phenom II Processors
(X6 1075T, X4 970 Black Edition, X2 560 Black Edition)

Back in April AMD released their 6 Core processors in the form of the 1090T and 1055T and in the process made hexa-core CPUs available to those with a mainstream budget for the first time. These new Phenom CPUs offered some excellent performance for their price range and combined with the new 890 chipset which includes SATA3 and USB3 support they offered users a very flexible and future proof system.

Since then things have been pretty quiet on the AMD processor front but that changes today as they are releasing their lastest batch of CPUs which include hex, quad and dual core models. We have one of each and have run them through a selection of real world tests including media playback, encoding, gaming and productivity tasks to find out where they sit in the current market.
