Chillblast Fusion Challenger PC Review

Chillblast Fusion Challenger - Packaging & External

When Chillblast send out a system it is dispatched in the retail packaging used by the Case manufacturer. This allows Chillblast to use the protective sections originally provided for the chassis, whether they be foam or polystyrene. In the case of our review system the protective layer way polystyrene with the case protected further by a bag.

Once unboxed we find the system ready to be plugged in and turned on. In our case the Fusion challenger used a Cooler Master 690 II Lite, a good quality chassis with plenty of ventilation, solid construction and the usual selection of front panel connectors which include 2x USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio. When powered on the front 12cm intake fan is illuminated by blue LED's and the LG Branded Blu-Ray drive is visible in the top 5.25" bay.

As always though there are numerous options for alternative cases in the system configuration process at www.chillblast.com and these include higher specification Cooler Master models and a couple of Xigmatek models.
