SteelSeries StarCraft 2 Gear - Zboard StarCraft 2 Keyset and QcK StarCraft 2 Gaming Surface Review

SteelSeries StarCraft 2 Gear - Zboard/Shift Keyset and QcK Gaming Surface

Back in October we reviewed one of the latest products from SteelSeries, their Shift gaming keyboard. In that review we found the board to perform very well, featuring huge flexibility, upgradable firmware, powered USB port for charging and some intuitive software. Since then we have used the keyboard every day for both gaming and general use and have found it to perform exceptionally well with high levels of comfort and a flawless typing experience.

For all that the SteelSeries Shift is a great product in its shipping form the board cannot be fully tested without trying its key (excuse the pun!) feature, switchable keysets. That's right, the Shift allows us to completely change our keypad to versions which have different layouts, branding and even functionality. So today we have one of their first Shift compatible keysets in our office and will see how it impacts our experience with the Shift.
