Palit GeForce GTX 560 Ti Graphics Card Review

Aliens VS Predator - DirectX 11

Everyone is familiar with the Aliens VS Predator franchise, this time Sega have rebooted the licence taking over from Sierra. AVP is a DirectX 11 game, which means we have advanced shadow rendering and high-quality tessellation for compatible cards.

Testing was performed at 1920x1080 with 4x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering. Maximum in-game settings were enabled.

Aliens VS Predator, a DirectX 11 game, gives us our first look at the performance of the new GTX 560 Ti and in this test we see that the new card is able to outperform an overclocked GTX 460 (800/1000) but falls behind the AMD models at our tested settings of 1920x1080 with 4x anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. Other than one small blip in performance our tested settings were perfectly playable on the GTX 560 Ti.
