One of the big selling points of the M17x R3 is the option of choosing a 120Hz display and running 3D Vision. To enable the technology we simply tick a box in the graphics card control panel and run the game. Our system takes care of the rest and we simply pop on the bundled active glasses, no need for an external transmitter as there is on a desktop system.
With 3D enabled our review sample of the M17x offered a reasonable experience in this game however for complete smoothness we need to move down a resolution.
For those interested in what the game looks like without glasses, here is the M17x screen with stereoscopic 3D enabled.
