In this test we see a surprising result, despite using a newer controller than the C300 our Intel 510 series SSD falls significantly behind the Crucial drive on 4K performance. The Force series drive is also much faster, in fact the 510 is actually at a level which sees it compete with the original Intel SSDs.
We have asked Intel for comment on this result and will update as soon as they give us a response, it could for example be that a firmware update will improve performance in this specific test, though we have not experienced any issues related to 4k performance when using the drive.
