Another recent release is the Unigene Heaven 2.5 benchmark and again we have run the cards though this. We tested at 1920x1080 with 4x anti-aliasing, 16x anisotropic filtering and Extreme Tessellation.
Looking first to the 3DMark results we see the Radeon has a small advantage over the GTX 590 at our tested settings, roughly 250 points separate the two cards. When we move to the Heaven benchmark things change however and the GTX is on average 10 frames per second faster than the 6990.
Looking at the comparison with the GTX 580 we see that there is some decent scaling going on with the 590 as it exceeds the single GPU by some way, most impressively on the Heaven benchmark.
