Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 Quad SLI Review

Civilization 5 - DirectX 11

Civilization 5 was released at the end of September 2010 and in a somewhat surprising move the developers have included a number of advanced graphical features in the latest version of this franchise. This includes support for DirectX 11 and terrain tessellation, ensuring this is the best looking Civilization ever.

Testing was performed at 5760x1080 with 8x anti-aliasing. High in-game settings were enabled.

After a few ropey results for both cards we are back to a more normal situation where both scale with a second card installed. Great framerates all round really.

Here is an example of how the game looks with the above settings.
