Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 Quad SLI Review

Dead Space 2 - DirectX 9

One of the newest games in our test suite, Dead Space 2, is a fantastically scary and hugely entertaining sequel from EA. Based on the engine first used in the most recent Godfather game the developers have worked hard to deliver a gorgeous looking theatre of nightmares.

Testing was performed at 5760x1080 with all in game settings at their maximum level.

Dead Space 2 shows some negative scaling with the latest drivers on the GTX 590 (and min FPS on 6990). Thankfully though the performance of the card is so good anyway that it is still completely playable while we wait on the game being optimised.

This is how the game looks at our tested settings.
