Inno3D GTX 560 Ti iChill FreezerXSeries vs PowerColor Radeon HD 6870 PCS++ Graphics Card Review

Inno3D GeForce GTX 560 Ti iChiLL vs PowerColor Radeon HD 6870 PCS++ Review

Over the last few weeks we have taken a look at some of the recently released Radeon cards which now fill the lower end of the market. From the 6450 up to the 6790 AMD now have a range of cards which satisfy the needs of those on a tight budget. While these launches were going on there was of course a steady stream of new cards appearing based on higher priced products such as the 6870 as manufacturers continued to tweak and improve the reference design and cooling.

One of those cards is part of the focus of our review today, the PowerColor 6870 PCS++ which includes an enhanced PCB and cooler and overclocked specifications. What card should it go up against? Well that would be the latest Inno3D GTX 560 Ti with triple slot cooler and its own overclock. We will be putting both cards through a selection of real world gaming, media and GPU computing tasks to find out which consumers each suits.
