Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Sonic Platinum Edition Graphics Card Review

Crysis 2 - DirectX 9

One of the most eagerly anticipated titles of 2011, Crysis 2 promises a great single player campaign, first class visuals and an in depth multi-player mode. Our testing is based on the final version of the game rather than the multi-player demo.

Testing was performed at 1920x1080 with maximum in game settings (Extreme).

As we mentioned earlier in the review NVIDIA see the GTX 560 as an ideal card for those who want to upgrade to a card which can play at 1080 resolution with high detail and in Crysis 2 there is no problem on that front. The Sonic Platinum edition flies through the game with extreme settings, never falling below 36fps which is significantly higher than the overclock edition 6850 we have used to give a performance baseline.

Here is how the game looks at our tested settings.
