Inno3D iChill FreezerXSeries GeForce GTX 560 Graphics Card Review

Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 560 Review

Just over a week ago NVIDIA launched their latest GPU, the GTX 560 which was designed to fill the gap between their GTX 550 Ti and GTX 560 Ti, an area where there was a quite a large price gap. By basing the new 560 on the same core as the Ti version, rather than overclocking a GTX 550 GPU they created a product which competed well and right from day one we saw manufacturers releasing custom design models with enhanced specifications.

As we have seen with other recent launches Inno3D are keen to create their own enhanced models of products based on NVIDIA GPUS and the new GTX 560 is no different. Today on our test bench we have the GTX 560 iChill from their Freezer X Series. What does that mean? It means a triple slot cooler, custom PCB and factory overclock and we will look at how the card performs in some of the latest games, such as DiRT 3, The Witcher 2 and Portal 2. The tests don't stop there though as we will, as always, take a look at media playback, 3D Vision performance and GPU computing.
