Alienware M14x Laptop Review

Over the past year or so we have taken a look at a number of Alienware systems from the 11" M11x to the M17xR3 with the M18x being the most recent model to be probed. There is however one model in the range that we have yet to review, the M14x which looks to combine some of the portability of the M11x with the power of the larger models.

Today we will be putting the M14x through a selection of real world tests which include media encoding and playback as well as gaming. We'll be putting this i7 based laptop up against an i5 model in a selection of those tests to find out how much extra performance we can get and whether the system can game satisfactorily a its native resolution.
