Discrete GPU Performance - 3DMark 11

To test the performance of discrete GPUs on the various platforms we are using 3DMark 11 set to Extreme mode.

As the Z68 Gen3 relies on an Ivy Bridge CPU and PCIe 3.0 based graphics card to take advantage of the next generation PCI-Express speeds there is not a huge difference in performance in the above graphs. That said the ASRock board does edge ahead on SLI performance, beating the Gigabyte model by nearly 150 points.
