Patriot package their Wildfire SSDs in a box which has minimal information on the front. There is however a flip open lid which reveals drive information as well as the device, visible through a plastic window.
Inside the box we find the drive protected by a plastic case with the bundled extras sitting in another. These include the screws required to install the drive as well as a bracket that allows us to install the drive in a 3.5" bay.
There is no specific software provided with the Wildfire however Patriot do offer firmware upgrades and these are performed through SandForce's Field Updater. We simply run the tool, select the drive and the latest version is installed.
