PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk.III 600W Power Supply Review

PC Power & Cooling Silencer MkIII 600W Power Supply Review

Back in March this year we took a look at one of PC Power & Cooling's enthusiast power supplies, the Silencer 760w. We found that silver certified unit to be well built with great performance for its class and it won our gold award.

Not everyone has the need for such a high wattage unit or the free cash to afford one so to meet the needs of those consumers PC Power & Cooling are today launching the Silencer MK3 series in wattages ranging from 400-600w. We have the 600w model on our test bench so let's find out if the latest Silencer model finds that nice balance of price, quality and performance.

Packaging and Bundle

PCP&C package their Silencer Mk3 range in a white, sturdy box with plenty of product information on the outside. Inside we find the PSU wrapped in a cloth bag, suspended in foam and beside it is a separate bag which contains the modular cables.

Bundled with the PSU is an information leaflet, mains plug, cable ties, case sticker and a set of screws for use during the installation of the product.
