MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr3 Power Edition

MSI give plenty of feature information on their packaging and focus very much on the cooler design for this card. Then inside we find a bundle similar to ASUS with power cables, display convertors (Including mini-HDMI to HDMI), software CD and product documentation.

The card of course features that custom cooler which is present on the box shot and MSI call this the Frozr 3. This is a dual fan design with 30dB noise rating and MSI use fans with a custom blade design which is said to generate 20% more airflow than normal fins.

MSI further enhance the card with triple overvoltage function via their Afterburner software and ensure our overclocking potential is maximised by the use of a 6+1 Phase PWM design.

Elsewhere on the card we also get super ferrite chokes (high current), Hi-C Capacitors for more precise voltages and solid capacitors for long term durability. All fall under the MSI Military Class 2 banner.

There are no surprises that this is a 2x6-pin power design (TDP of 230w) and for outputs MSI opt for mini-HDMI and two Dual-Link DVIs. This of course means 2 displays at any one time or three in SLI.

The core on this model is set to 750MHz and the 1280MB of DDR5 memory is set to 975MHz, that's above the speeds of ASUS and GIGABYTE out of the box. There are 40 ROPS and for the CUDA Cores this is of course a 448 design connected to a 320-bit memory bus. PCIe 2.0, DirectX 11 and DirectCompute are all supported on this card as is acceleration of high definition content and the card can output audio over HDMI as well as support Stereoscopic 3D and PhysX.
