Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition Mechanical Keyboard Review
A few months ago Razer took a great leap into the mechanical keyboard marketplace and released the BlackWidow and BlackWidow Ultimate. We reviewed the latter and found it to be one of the best keyboards we had ever tested, becoming one of only a handful of items to ever win our Diamond award.
Of course no single product ever appeals to everyone and one of the key reasons for this is styling. While some consumers may have liked the shiny surface on the BlackWidow others would have seen it as a fingerprint magnet, always in need of cleaning. Then there are those who would not have been drawn to the blue lighting. For those that didn't like blue Razer began offering the
Battlefield 3 Edition recently with orange LEDs but they haven't stopped there...
For consumers who prefer a more understated mechanical keyboard design than the shiny finish or clicky keys of the original BlackWidow Razer now offer the Stealth Edition. With its matte soft touch coating and low noise buttons this version of the Ultimate should open up the product to a wider market.
