Battlefield 3 - DirectX 11

Battlefield 3 was tested at 1920x1080 with 4xAA, 16xAF and all other settings at their maximum as well as 5760x1080 without AA.

So we begin our gaming tests with Battlefield 3 and it is fair to say that the XFX 7970 Black Edition offers the best experience in this game. Whether we are playing at 1920x1080 or 5760x1080 the Black Edition card offers better framerates than the 6970 and in the comparison with the GTX 580 we see the XFX card come out on top at the first resolution... the NVIDIA card can't provide us with 5760x1080 to compare there.
