HIS Radeon HD 7950 CrossFire Graphics Card Review

Over the last month and a bit we have had the opportunity to look at the Radeon 7900 series in detail. Back in December that meant the reference 7970 cards in single and CrossFire configurations then at the beginning of this month we revisited those setups with partner cards and new drivers. To complete the picture though we also took a look at tri and quad 7970 performance.

When the 7970 samples hit the market AMD were still holding back from releasing the 7950, something they had openly discussed with the press in December. That changes today with the launch of that card though and so far we have taken a look at single card and overclocking performance. To complete the set of 7950 articles for today we have a HIS system set up and configured on an i7/X79 build and will be looking at CrossFire performance of AMD's new card in a selection of games which include Battlefield 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic at resolutions up to 5760x1080 (Eyefinity).
