Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse Review

Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse Review

In the world of gaming peripherals a number of manufacturers have taken the approach of building mice which try to be all things to all gamers. Razer on the other hand have realised that building a mouse which looks to cater for all has limitations and so over the past few years we have seen them release devices specific to particular gaming groups.

The Razer Naga for example is very much aimed at MMO players, other models look to excel at FPS games and then there are the branded models, such as the Star Wars: The Old Republic peripherals which feature game branding/styling and integration.

Now Razer is expanding the Naga family with the Hex Edition. The Hex features a new thumb button layout, with mechanical switches, that is aimed at MOBA and action RPG gamers. Today we have one of the first Hex samples on our desk and will find out if it succeeds in enhancing our gaming experience and if it is suitably different to the previous model.

Packaging and Bundle

Razer package the Naga Hex in a box which shares similar styling to the majority of their other mice. On the front we get a nice clear image of the mouse along with some specifications and the front flips open to reveal the Hex encased in plastic. Bundled with the mouse we get product documentation, stickers and a set of replacement thumb rests.
