SteelSeries Desmo Snow by GUNNAR Optiks Review
SteelSeries offer a wide range of gaming peripherals from keyboards and mice to headsets and controllers. They are arguably one of the most respected manufacturers of gaming peripherals with a huge following from casual and professional gamers. Today's offering will appeal to a very niche market of professional gamers but the technology could also appeal to avid computer users.
That product is the SteelSeries Desmo Snow by GUNNAR Optiks, a company focusing solely on technology eyewear. The Desmo is professional gaming eyewear and the Snow branding signifies the colour with Oynx (Orange) being the alternative styling.
To many the thought of gaming eyewear may sound like a gimmick, causing an eyebrow or two to be raised. Especially so when 'See Better, Play Better' is found on the box with claims that are nothing short of spectacular. However looking a little closer the product brief explains the eyewear's technology will increase contrast, enhance detail, help reduce glare, improve endurance, decrease eye fatigue and dry eyes... Interesting and in theory not entirely unreasonable.
