Mass Effect 3 ends our standard gaming tests and is limited to 60fps when installed but through adding a couple of lines to the configuration file we can unlock this for enhanced framerates on high specification cards. With the tweaks applied and maximum detail turned on we see fantastic 1920x1080 performance from the GTX 680 which outperforms all of the other cards, improving on the GTX 580 by around 40fps.
At 5760x1080 the Radeons do close the performance gap though and once again that sees the GTX 680 hitting framerates just above the reference 7970 for average and minimum.
