Samsung Google Galaxy NEXUS Smartphone Review

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Smartphone Review

When it launched the Galaxy Nexus was given top billing by Samsung. Their latest handset got the full webcast treatment with press from across the world invited to the event where key executive speakers from Samsung and Google were present. It was clear that both companies felt this was an impressive handset from the high resolution screen to the curved design or even the fact it was going to be running the latest verson of Android, 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Today we have the Galaxy Nexus on our test bench and will take a look at what it offers in today's smartphone market, focusing of course on aspects such as the OS which is still quite unique in the Android world.

Packaging and Bundle

The Galaxy Nexus is packaged in a white rectangular box that is much longer than the handset. The top and the sides of the box feature actual size images of the handset and upon lifting the lid we find the product recessed into the white interior packaging with a compartment below it. Inside this compartment are the bundled extras and surrounding these is the distinctive green, blue, red and yellow branding of the Nexus and Google. In terms of items we have the product documentation, headphones and a USB charge/data cable.
