PCMark 7 features a set of storage tests which attempt to recreate real world performance scenarios such as importing images, converting media and scanning our drive for malware. Each offers different challenges for our drives but the overall result is that the Vertex 4 models sit at the top of the pile, again by a decent amount. This is down to strong performance across the board but the importing pictures test and starting applications results are particularly impressive.
