Samsung Galaxy SIII (S3) Android Smartphone Review

For all that HTC have been successful in recent times it is Samsung who have had most success in the Android arena with their Galaxy S2. In fact it was only a month ago that the S2 was overtaken in sales for some regions by a competing model with the reason no doubt being that the launch/announcement of the Galaxy S3 clearly impacted potential consumer purchases.

Having the tag of most pre-ordered handset of this year, today we find out whether the Galaxy S3 has what it takes to continue the success of the Galaxy S2; or equally importantly whether it can compete with other handsets such as the One X from HTC.

Packaging and Bundle


Samsung package their Galaxy S3 in a sturdy cardboard box which lifts open to reveal the phone, suspended inside and protected by a screen cover.


In a separate compartment below the phone we find the product documentation and our bundled extras. These consist of a USB data/charge cable, earphones and a charger with USB socket.
