Xigmatek Tauro 700W Power Supply Review

When reviewing products the very best and the very worst always stick in the memory. One product which very clearly sits in the "best" category was the Xigmatek Elysium, a phenomenal case which managed to find a great mix of features, performance and price. Of course when a manufacturer does so well with one of their products it sets expectations for those that follow much higher but thankfully with the Gigas case Xigmatek then delivered a solid follow-up with some high level build quality and excellent performance.

Now Xigmatek are releasing a new range of PSUs with the Tauro range. Aimed at performance users on a budget these bronze certified units aim to deliver an attractive mix of price and performance. Today we find out if Xigmatek deliver on those fronts, and more.

Packaging and Bundle

Xigmatek package the Tauro in a box which offers a clear image of the product along with some key features listed. Interestingly the product branding (Tauro) features more prominently than the Xigmatek name/logo on this box. Inside we find the PSU wrapped in bubble wrap and bundled with it some cable ties, screws to install in our case and the product documentation.
