The Sentinel Advance 2 is supplied in a medium sized cardboard box, similar in size to the previous models, and comes with a flip lid. The Speed-RX mouse pads are supplied in oblong boxes in varying in sizes.
The front of the Sentinel Advance 2 package has a large graphic showing the mouse along with a banner highlighting the new Avago ADNS-9800 sensor. Flipping the lid of the box open we find that the Sentinel Advance 2 mouse is visible through a moulded clear plastic container. On the inside of the lid there is another graphic of the mouse highlighting all the key features of the Sentinel Advance 2.
Turning to the back of the box we find a list of the technical specifications for the Sentinel Advance 2 mouse.
Bundled with the Sentinel Advance 2 is a note which points us to the CM Storm website to download the software and drivers, as well as a note of the 2 year warranty provided with the mouse. Also included are replacement non-stick feet.
The Speed-RX mouse pads are supplied in an oblong box, which comes in three sizes depending on the version of the pad purchased, small/medium or large.
Each of the boxes included a features list on one side and an introduction to the product on the other. Next to the features text is a small square of the surface material used on the Speed-RX; this gives us an idea of how the full surface of the mouse pad will feel.
