Enermax Triathlor 550W Power Supply Review

Enermax Triathlor 550W Power Supply Review

Over a long period of time Enermax have released some of the most impressive high end PSUs around. Thinking back through their previous ranges such as the Galaxy or the more recent Max Revo we have continued to be impressed by their performance and design, though there is always price premium associated by those high end products.

Within the mainstream and low end Enermax have been fighting it out with the likes of their MODU82+ ranges and on the whole have done well in that area. In the next few months they will be refreshing their offering in that area though bringing the Triathlor to market. Today we have the 550w model on our test bench to find out what it offers for those on a limited budget.

Packaging and Bundle

Enermax package the Triathlor in a white box which offers a clear image of the product along with couple of logos telling us of some key features. Inside we find the PSU wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard with the bundled extras in separate compartments. These include cable ties, screws to install in our case and the product documentation as well as a mains cable.
