Inno3D GTX 680 iChill Black Edition and GTX 660 Ti iChill Graphics Card Review

Gaming Performance @ 5760x1080

As noted on the last page this review is focused on maximum IQ gaming and while the GTX 660 Ti is more than capable of playing a few of the less demanding games at 5760x1080 (e.g. CS:GO) there are others where we would need to reduce settings to maintain smooth gameplay and so we are focusing on the GTX 680 for this test having covered these tweaks in previous articles. Additionally, with its extra 2GB of memory the Inno3D card could be one of the better suited GTX 680s for surround gaming, let's find out.

Battlefield 3 was tested at 5760x1080 with 4xAA, 16xAF and all other settings at their maximum.

In the results above the performance goes with the trend we would normally expect from a GTX 680 and 7970. The NVIDIA based card doing well in the likes of Battlefield 3, Diablo 3 and SWTOR with AMD leading on F1 and Counter Strike. Borderlands 2 with its higher IQ on NVIDIA again offers a distinct difference between the user experiences and it was great to see that even at these high IQ settings both cards offered completely smooth gameplay in every game... other than a couple of very minor stutters in Battlefield 3.
